What is the solution regarding a father who has been secretly practicing sorcery and magic for 25 years, and does the mother have the right to demand a divorce from him?
It is not permissible to accuse the father of witchcraft without proof. If that is proven, then he must be advised and prohibited [from it]. If he persists, then the wife has the right to seek divorce (Talaq) or annulment (Khul'). The same applies if he refrains from spending on her. As for his marriage to another woman, it is not a reason to seek divorce unless she stipulated that in the marriage contract.
