The answer

If the one who swore an oath intended by his oath to abandon masturbation only in the bathroom, then he does not break his oath by doing it outside of it. However, if he intended to abandon it anywhere, then he breaks his oath by doing it inside or outside of it, and an expiation for breaking an oath becomes incumbent upon him. It is worth noting that masturbation is forbidden due to the harms it entails.
