"Worrying thoughts (Waswas) are a serious illness. Their cure lies in frequent remembrance of Allah (dhikr) and obedience, as well as neglecting them and not paying attention to them. This should be coupled with the importance of medical and behavioral treatment if the situation escalates. If the Waswas is mild and does not affect your marital life, then there is no need to disclose it. However, if it affects the husband's rights or leads to his aversion, then it is obligatory to disclose it, because some jurists have equated Waswas with insanity regarding defects that can annul a marriage contract. Therefore, immediate treatment for Waswas is advised."
