Why is the hijab obligatory only for women, even though men's bodies may tempt women?

If the failure to acknowledge Islam as the true religion is due to a lack of courage, despite affirming it in one's heart and tongue and adhering to its 가능한 laws, then this concealment of one's Islam does not harm its owner. However, if there is no verbal affirmation and no utterance of the two testimonies of faith, even secretly, then one is not judged to be Muslim.

Regarding the husband not being exclusively veiled, Muhammad Tal'at Harb said: "Each spouse has a specific function. The man's function is outside his home to earn a living, and the woman's function is domestic, inside the home. Her going out is for necessity, so enjoining her to veil, unlike the man, is more suitable for her circumstances."

Sheikh Saeed Al-Jabi said: "The women who were commanded to remain at home with dignity and to conceal the sound of their anklets and speak from behind a veil, this is sufficient for them and renders it unnecessary for men to be commanded to cover their faces from them, especially since men's work is outside the home and women's work is inside it."
