It is not permissible to take a grant for someone who does not deserve it. Whoever does so must return it and immediately stop participating in it, unless they explain their situation to the responsible authority and it approves. Deception and trickery to seize what one is not entitled to are forbidden, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever cheats us is not of us, and cunning and deception are in the Fire." Muslims must be a good example in fulfilling covenants and adhering to conditions.
