How can a married man who has traveled far from his family and his wife rid himself of the sin of fulfilling his lust by fondling a prostitute, without intercourse or seeing her nakedness?

One must hasten to sincere repentance from sin, by abandoning it, regretting having committed it, and resolving not to return to it, while concealing one's own faults. Part of sincere repentance is avoiding the causes of disobedience. We advise you not to prolong your absence from your family, as a husband's absence from his family without an urgent need is not permissible. Until you return, you must be patient and chaste, seek help through fasting, frequently lower your gaze, block the doors of temptation, strengthen your connection with Allah, occupy your time with beneficial things, and be persistent in supplication.
