Is it permissible to play with a chain to find out the number of children in the future, knowing that its results are accurate and it is said to rely on pulse?

Scholars have unanimously agreed on the prohibition of soothsaying and divination. Divination encompasses every claim to knowledge of the unseen, including claiming to know the number of children or what is in the wombs. This is from the unseen, which no one knows but Allah, as stated in His Almighty saying: "Say: None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allah" and His saying: "Indeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs." And in the Hadith of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "The keys to the unseen are five, which no one knows but Allah." The claim to know this by relying on the pulse is a superstition, and any correct prognostication is pure coincidence with no scientific basis.
