What is the ruling on participating in forums that contain jokes and birthday topics?

It is permissible to participate in forums with beneficial topics if there is a hope of benefiting people and inviting them to Allah, provided that one adheres to the prohibition of evil and attempts to reform. If those who act contrary persist in their actions and do not respond to advice, and the harm of abandoning them is great, leading to the forum becoming exclusively dedicated to transgressions, then it is better to continue while consistently offering advice. However, if there is a fear that remaining will lead to harm, such as being influenced by the transgressions, then one must abandon them.
