What is the ruling on seeking help from a raqi who claims to have a Muslim jinn and follows Sufi methods of treatment? Can the presence of this jinn affect the marital relationship? And can the abundance of sins in non-Muslim countries affect the spread of devils and their influence on people?

The condition cannot be diagnosed. Ruqyah Shariah (Islamic exorcism) can be performed whether the person is afflicted or not. It is permissible to seek Ruqyah from those known to follow thenah (Prophetic tradition) and have sound belief, and who are far removed from sorcery. One should avoid those who seek assistance from jinn due to their lies and deception. It is advised not to obey the husband's mother in going to someone who seeks assistance from jinn. One should diligently observe the divine protections and the prescribed remembrances, such as Surat Al-Baqarah, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Mu'awwidhatayn (Al-Falaq and An-Nas), Ayat Al-Kursiyy, the last verses of Surat Al-Baqarah, the conclusion of Surat At-Tawbah, and the saying "Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa Huwa 'alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul 'Arshil 'Azeem" (Allah is sufficient for me; there is no god but Him. In Him I have placed my trust, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne) seven times in the morning and evening. The prevalence of heedlessness and disobedience strengthens the devils, but being fortified with Ruqyah Shariah protects the Muslim.
