Is there anything outside the will and decree of Allah, and did Allah know of the appearance of modern inventions such as computers, televisions, and means of transportation?

The best remedy for satanic whispers (waswas) is to disregard them and seek refuge with Allah from them, for Allah Almighty says: "And if an evil suggestion comes to you from Satan, then seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, He is Hearing and Knowing."

Nothing occurs in the universe except by the will and decree of Allah. What Allah wills comes to be, and what He does not will does not come to be, as Allah Almighty says: "And you do not will except that Allah wills. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise."

Allah Almighty knows what has been, what will be, and how what has not been would be if it were to be. Thus, Allah knew of modern inventions before their existence, and they are recorded with Him in the Preserved Tablet. And His saying, "And He creates what you do not know," includes all new inventions.
