If the distance between your home and the university is 83 kilometers or more, you are permitted to shorten (qasr) and combine (jam') prayers before returning to your home. However, after your arrival back home, it is not permissible. Therefore, pray Dhuhr shortened at the university, and 'Asr fully after your return home. It is also permissible for you to combine Dhuhr shortened with 'Asr at your workplace.
