Is it permissible for me to marry a woman without informing her of my AIDS diagnosis, knowing that the virus is dormant, and if it is not permissible, what is your advice to me?

A man must inform the woman he intends to marry of any illness, because concealing it is deception, and could lead to major problems. This is based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever deceives us is not of us." Furthermore, a person should love for his brother what he loves for himself. It is advised to maintain the obligatory prayers, avoid prohibitions, make abundant supplications, and pursue material means of treatment.
