What is the Sharia ruling on a person financially supporting a married woman when her parents are still alive?

If the sponsorship is from the obligatory Zakat, and the woman is poor, and her guardian is poor, it is permissible to give her Zakat because she is among those eligible for it, even if her parents are alive, as long as her maintenance is not obligatory upon them. If the sponsorship is from non-obligatory Zakat funds, then there is no objection.
