Is the choice of the words of Imam Sahl ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Tustarī, as quoted by al-Lālakāʾī in Sharḥ Uṣūl Iʿtiqād Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamāʿah, for delivering lessons on the creed of the righteous predecessors, the obligation of adhering to the community, the love of the Companions, and the impermissibility of revolting against the ruler, sound?

Indeed, the words of Sahl al-Tustari in his commentary on the fundamentals of Ahl al-Sunnah's creed are profound. His exact words are: "When does a man know that he is upon the Sunnah and the Jama'ah?" He said: "When he recognizes ten characteristics in himself: He does not abandon the congregation (jama'ah), he does not revile the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him), he does not rebel against this Ummah with the sword, he does not deny divine decree (qadar), he does not doubt faith (iman), he does not dispute in matters of religion, he does not abandon praying over anyone who dies from the people of the Qiblah due to sin, he does not abandon wiping over the leather socks (khuffayn), and he does not abandon congregational prayer behind every ruler, whether neighbor or just."
