Is Tafsir al-Qurtubi among the best interpretations, and does it conform to the creed of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah?

Tafsir al-Qurtubi is one of the best books of tafsir (Qur'anic exegesis), especially concerning the rulings of the Qur'an and the explanation of its linguistic meanings. He followed the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wal Jama'ah in many creedal issues, and he agreed with the Ash'aris in their interpretation of some verses pertaining to the divine attributes. Therefore, what he mentions regarding the verses of attributes should be compared with what is mentioned by exegetes who adhere to the methodology of the Salaf, such as Ibn Kathir.
