Which is better, Tafsir al-Qurtubi or al-Baghawi?

Al-Baghawi's Tafsir is characterized by interpretation based on transmitted narrations (Tafsir bi al-Ma'thur) and a Salafi creed. It is an abridgment of Al-Tha'labi's Tafsir, with the removal of fabricated hadiths and innovations. It is described as one of the most magnificent works of Tafsir, comprehensive of what is authentic, free from ambiguities, adorned with prophetic hadiths, legal rulings, and stories.

As for Al-Qurtubi's Tafsir, it is distinguished by its focus on the legal rulings of the Qur'an, the derivation of evidence, recitations, grammar, and the abrogating and abrogated verses. It refutes the Mu'tazilah, the Qadariyyah, the Rawafid, and the philosophers, though he affirmed some of the Ash'ari errors.
