Why did God forbid intercourse with wives during menstruation, and what is the wisdom behind forbidding the consumption of pork?

The basis for the prohibition of something is the ruling of Allah the Almighty or His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, for Allah the Almighty says: "It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter, that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into a clear error."

The prohibition of approaching a menstruating woman and eating pork has been established. It is permissible to search for the wisdom behind the prohibition to increase reassurance. The Sacred Law justified the prohibition of approaching a menstruating woman by stating that it is "a harm," as Allah the Almighty says: "And they ask you about menstruation. Say, 'It is a harm, so keep away from women during menstruation. And do not approach them until they are pure.'" Modern medicine has confirmed the harms resulting from this.
