What is the ruling on transplanting a penis from a European donor—without transferring genetic codes—after the penis has been disfigured in a car accident, rendering one unable to have intercourse with his wife?

It is not permissible to transplant a penis, even if the transfer is from a deceased person to a living one. This is because the penis is considered a severe awrah (private part) that the Islamic Fiqh Academy has explicitly excluded from permissible transplantation. Furthermore, the objectives behind transplanting sexual organs, such as procreation or completing sexual pleasure, are not among the necessities that would permit the exposure of awrahs. If a Muslim is afflicted and endures with patience, he will receive a great reward.
