Is it permissible for a Muslim man to marry a Christian girl who recently converted to Islam, via video conferencing or by authorizing someone to perform her marriage legally, given that she has no guardian in her home country?

If a Christian woman converts to Islam and has no Muslim guardian from her relatives, then her guardianship transfers to the Sultan, who is the Muslim ruler or his representative, such as a judge.

If she is in a non-Islamic country and there is no Muslim judge, then the director of the Islamic center acts in place of the judge. If it is impossible to reach him in her country, then a Muslim with authority in her country, such as the Imam of the mosque, undertakes her marriage.

It is not permissible for a woman to appoint someone to contract her marriage in another country, because she does not have the authority to dispose of her marriage contract herself; consequently, she does not have the authority to appoint someone else.

If a woman has a guardian in her country, there is no harm in contracting the marriage through modern communication methods, provided that fraud is safeguarded against.
