It was incumbent upon the girl to thank her stepfather for sponsoring her and raising her to wear the , and her removal of the hijab is a heinous abomination. She must repent and return to the hijab and mend ties with her mother. It is not permissible for her to stipulate abandoning the hijab in order to return. The stepfather is right in his command regarding the hijab and not allowing her entry except with it. However, if this leads to her associating with bad company, then he should waive his demand and permit her entry, then advise her regarding the hijab with gentleness.
