Why is Taraweeh prayer dropped on Eid night, despite its being recommended throughout the year?

Tarawih prayer is a confirmed Sunnah specific to Ramadan and is not prescribed at other times, based on the hadith, "Allah has enjoined upon you its fasting and I have legislated for you its standing (in prayer)." The Sunnah is for it to be performed in congregation. The night of Eid is not among the nights of Ramadan, but rather among the nights of Shawwal, so congregational prayer is not prescribed on it. Whoever wishes to pray individually may do so, and no specific night should be singled out for this. The narrations concerning the revival of the two Eid nights are weak.
