What is the ruling on a wife remaining employed by an institution affiliated with the Fatah movement in Gaza, receiving a salary without attending work, given her husband's refusal for her to work there or transfer to another governmental institution?

It is forbidden for a wife to receive a salary from the government without actually working, just as her work in a secular institution is impermissible, because secularism is hostile to Islam. It is the right of the husband to prevent his wife from working unless she stipulated it in the marriage contract, provided that the work does not involve any impermissible شرعي (Shar'i) elements.
