What is the expiation for masturbating during menstruation before purification from it while performing Hajj?

If a Muslim repents sincerely, Allah accepts their repentance. Masturbation does not invalidate Hajj according to the majority of scholars. However, whoever does so must offer a fidyat adha (expiation for harm), which is: fasting for three days, or feeding six needy persons, or sacrificing a sheep. The Shafi'is hold that the fidyah is obligatory, while the Hanbalis are of the view that if ejaculation occurs, a badanah (camel) is due, and if ejaculation does not occur, then a sheep is due. As for the Malikis, they believe that masturbation invalidates Hajj, and necessitates its repetition (qada') and an offering (hady). The most preponderant opinion is that Hajj remains valid, but the fidyah becomes obligatory.
