It is strictly forbidden to draw images of animate beings, and this is considered a major sin, due to the warnings and curses mentioned concerning it. However, jurists have made exceptions for images that are incomplete or lack features, or for digital images that are not printed on a fixed medium. The warning applies to the photographer/illustrator, not the owner, but the owner is commanded to efface the forbidden image.
