These secretions that appeared on the eighth day are the yellowish or brownish discharge (al-kudrah). The yellowish and brownish discharges are not considered menstruation unless they occur during the period of a woman's regular cycle or are connected to blood. However, after the end of the regular cycle and the sight of purity, they are not considered menstruation. Therefore, these secretions are not menses, but they nullify ablution. So, she should wash them off and perform ablution for prayer. If their discharge is continuous, she should perform ablution for each prayer after its time has begun. She is then subject to all the rulings of pure women regarding fasting, reciting the Quran, and touching the Mushaf.
