What is obligatory upon you is to fast the days you missed, with the intention of making them up and renewing the intention each night. In addition to making up the fasts, you are also required to pay expiation (kaffarah) for each day you delayed its fasting until the next Ramadan began without a valid excuse. The expiation should be given to the poor, either by yourself or by appointing someone you trust. It is not sufficient to put it in donation boxes unless it is confirmed that it reaches only the poor.
