What is the ruling on saying "the game of fate," and what is the ruling on listening to someone who says it? And does the one who says it exit the fold of Islam?

The saying "game of fate" is an utterance of disbelief (kufr) because it is Allah who has decreed all destinies, and Allah has negated from Himself the attribute of play. Belief in divine decree (qadar) is one of the pillars of faith. Uttering such words is considered an objection to Allah and an insult to what His knowledge has preceded.

However, ruling that a statement is kufr does not necessarily entail declaring the speaker an apostate (takfir). Rather, it requires the fulfillment of the conditions for takfir and the absence of impediments, such as the speaker being aware of its ugliness and intentionally meaning the ugly connotation. Many common people utter such words out of ignorance, without paying attention to the corruption of their meaning. Therefore, they should be advised and made aware of the seriousness of this saying from a Sharia perspective.

Furthermore, watching television series that contain such sayings or other reprehensible matters is forbidden.
