Will the punishment for slander be waived for the slanderer in the Hereafter if the slanderer did not enable the slandered person to administer it in this world?

Slander is a grave sin due to its violation of a Muslim's honor, and it necessitates the prescribed legal punishment (hadd) in cases of slandering with zina (fornication/adultery) or denying paternity. If the slandered person becomes aware of the slander, the punishment is not carried out unless he demands it. However, if the slandered person is unaware of the slander, the slanderer's repentance is by disproving himself, meaning he informs those who heard him at the time of the slander that he was lying, or he denies what he said. If the slanderer repents sincerely in this world, Allah accepts his repentance. If he dies before repenting, then his matter is with Allah.
