The answer

It is permissible for a fasting person to exchange affectionate words and actions with his wife (with whom the marriage contract has been concluded), such as kissing her, embracing her, or holding her hand, if he controls himself. This is based on the statement of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, used to kiss while fasting and touch while fasting, but he was the most controlling of you over his desire." As for the fiancée who is not yet married, affectionate speech and touching her hand are not permissible, and one must not be lenient in this regard.
