What is the ruling on saying: "If it were permissible to sanctify human beings, you would have found me in my mother's embrace?"

There is no harm in saying: "If I were to command anyone to prostrate to another, I would have commanded the woman to prostrate to her husband," for this is making the condition dependent on what is impossible, and similar to it is His (the Most High's) saying: "Say: If the Most Gracious had a son, then I would be the first of His worshippers," according to the view that "if" (إن) is conditional and not negating.
