It is permissible to perform a "sex correction" operation on someone who is predominantly feminine in their characteristics, to remove the ambiguity of their femininity. This is because it is a medical condition, and the treatment is intended for healing, not for altering God's creation. However, if the male or female organs are complete, then conversion is not permissible, as that would be altering God's creation. If it becomes clear that this person is female and her sex has been corrected, she inherits two-thirds with her sister, and the remainder goes to their paternal uncle. If the inheritance was divided on the basis that the intersex person was male, then this person must give half of what they received to their paternal uncle, unless the uncle forgives them.
