What is the solution to the problem of not being able to maintain wudu for a long time due to wind or sound, which prevents one from going to prayer in the mosque, knowing that the ability to maintain wudu sometimes varies based on water temperature and cold weather?

A patient afflicted with wind (flatulence) is advised to seek treatment. Their ablution (wudu') is valid if the emission of wind is continuous without interruption, allowing them to purify themselves and perform the prayer before its time expires. In this case, their ruling is similar to that of a person afflicted with urinary incontinence (sahib al-salas).

As for going to the mosque, it is advisable for them to go a little before the prayer if they can control the wind. However, if they cannot control it and it causes discomfort to the worshipers, then they are not obliged to go, because jurists permit abstaining from Friday prayer and congregational prayers for someone who causes discomfort to those around them. This is an analogy to the prohibition of approaching the mosque for one who has eaten garlic and onions, and it applies even more so to a sick person who has no control over their condition.
