What is the meaning of "Madad Ya Rasul Allah," or "Madad Ya Sayyiduna Al-Husayn," or "Madad Ya Sayyid Ya Badawi"?

Allah Almighty created jinn and mankind to worship Him alone, and He sent messengers to invite their peoples to His Oneness and to forbid them from polytheism. Polytheism is directing worship to other than Allah. Supplication (Du'a) is one of the acts of worship that must be sincerely dedicated to Allah Almighty, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Du'a is worship."

Seeking help from other than Allah is a form of supplicating other than Allah, and it is major polytheism (Shirk Akbar) that expels its practitioner from the fold of Islam. Supplicating the dead and the righteous to seek provision, succor, and victory is considered polytheism, because provision, succor, and victory come only from Allah. Allah Almighty said: "That is Allah, your Lord; to Him belongs the dominion. And those whom you invoke other than Him do not possess so much as the membrane of a date seed. If you invoke them, they do not hear your supplication; and if they heard, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection, they will deny your partnership. And none can inform you like [one who is] an All-Knower." The Quranic verses also emphasized that whoever supplicates other than Allah will not succeed because he is a disbeliever.
