Does the angel who guides a Muslim to good command him to abandon whatever distracts him from devotion during prayer, especially if it is related to worldly matters?

The angel is aware of the son of Adam's heart, commanding him to good. And humility in prayer is among the good things that the angel commands. The angel's suggestion (lammah) is a promise of good and a confirmation of that promise. As for the devil's suggestion (lammah), it is a promise of evil and a denial of that promise. Therefore, the servant must assist the angel against his own self and respond to his advice, fleeing from the devil's cunning. The lack of humility in prayer is from the devil's deception, and likewise, abandoning beloved duties in order to attain humility is also from the devil's deception. One must balance duties so that they are performed without deficiency.
