How can I learn the Arabic language?

Learning the Arabic language is a communal obligation (fard kifayah) upon the Ummah, because it is a means to understanding the texts of revelation. As for individuals, it is obligatory for them to learn what is necessary for performing their religious duties, such as prayer. Learning the language with the intention of gaining a deeper understanding of the religion (tafaqquh) and spreading Islam is better than voluntary acts of worship. It can be learned by enrolling in a school or center, or directly from a teacher. Memorizing eloquent texts from the Qur’an and Hadith aids in comprehending it.
