What is the appropriate action to take when dealing with a female colleague who is envious and jealous, and speaks ill of me, which has affected my professional and personal life?

To deal with colleagues' envy at work, one should be wise and patient, for there is good in patience. One must continue to pray for their guidance and righteousness, as Allah commanded us to supplicate and promised to answer. Being good to others may transform enmity into friendship and affection. Also, one should not display anything that might provoke envy or jealousy. Finally, whoever fears the evil of anyone should ask Allah to protect him from it.
