Is it true that no matter what a woman does, she will never fulfill the immense right her husband has over her, and does this prevent her from entering Paradise, and is it permissible to forgo marriage for this reason?

The husband's right over his wife is great, and she must obey, respect, and revere him. This right is affirmed by the Qur'an and Sunnah, such as the Almighty's saying: ﴿Men are in charge of women﴾ and the Hadith: «If I were to order anyone to prostrate to anyone, I would have ordered women to prostrate to their husbands.»

The wife is able to fulfill her husband's right, for Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity. Slight shortcomings are excused, and the wife should hasten to rectify her shortcomings through good deeds. The narrations that exaggerate the description of the husband's right to the extent of being unable to fulfill it are not authentic.
