What does it mean for a person to be cursed by Allah, and are there visible signs or perceptible effects of that? Does it mean that Allah places the person in an irrational world, harms them, and speaks to them, or is it merely a simple curse? Does a curse from Allah mean not entering Paradise or not being forgiven? If a person lived an Islamic life and then deviated by committing major sins like drinking alcohol and fornication, then repented and abandoned them, can Allah forgive them? What is their punishment if it is not eternal? And if this person starts hearing voices and seeing things that others do not see, and speaks with Allah, who sometimes tells them that He will forgive them and other times not, are they cursed? And if that is the case in this life, can they be forgiven?

"Lahn" (cursing) is expulsion and banishment from Allah's mercy. It applies to major sins. The accursed is either a disbeliever, banished from Allah's mercy to His torment, or a Muslim who committed an act deserving of a curse, such as drinking alcohol or committing adultery; such a person will not remain eternally in Hellfire.

Allah's curse does not mean the appearance of a symbolic mark on a servant, or that they are afflicted with madness or leprosy. Rather, it is a legal ruling related to their religion and their destiny in the Afterlife.

Seeing voices and objects that no one else sees, and claiming that they are from Allah, is nothing but deception from Satan to distance the person from Allah. No human hears Allah's voice except the prophets, and no one sees their Lord until they die.

The person must perform sincere repentance, abandon sins, regret what has passed, increase in acts of obedience, and have good thoughts of Allah. For Allah forgives all sins for those who repent, and one who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin.
