Is reading Surat Al-Baqarah daily with a colleague of mine an innovation (bid‘ah)?

There is no harm in reciting Surat Al-Baqarah in the home daily, seeking the blessings of the Surah and its merits mentioned in the Sunnah, such as fortifying the home against Satan and treating magic. The only harm would be believing that this is a prescribed Sunnah or that there is a specific virtue for daily recitation that has not been supported by a religious text.
