Is it permissible to persuade patients to undergo unnecessary tests to collect their value from insurance or from the patient, given that the fee is not linked to these tests?

It is not permissible for a doctor to obligate a patient to undergo unnecessary medical examinations for financial gain, nor to convince them of their necessity. Obeying an employer in this regard constitutes cooperation in sin and illicitly consuming people's wealth, based on the Almighty's saying: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty." The doctor's lack of benefit does not justify lying to patients and deceiving them.
