The student must adhere to the university examination system. If allowed to ask about symptoms, he should ask; if prohibited, he should refrain. Otherwise, it would be cheating. If asking is allowed, but the patient refuses to disclose or lies unless paid, then a legitimate means must be sought, in cooperation with the hospital administration, to ascertain the symptoms. If the student finds no means other than paying money, then it is permissible for him to do so, while it remains unlawful for the recipient.
