Is it permissible to enroll in a co-educational college of medicine, given that no other option is available in the province, coupled with an inability to relocate to another province, and with other specializations being unsuitable?

Studying in mixed universities is a door to temptation and a means to corruption. However, if it is possible to study in them while observing the limits of Sharia, then there is no objection. But if studying in them leads to seclusion with non-mahram men or mixing that does not guarantee safety from temptation, then it is not permissible.
