Is it considered unlawful for a husband to divorce his wife after a month and a half of marriage due to her excessive body hair, and will he be punished for this act and for not granting her legitimate marital rights?

Divorce is detestable in Islam. Your husband divorcing you is not forbidden, but it is better not to rush into it. He is obligated to give you your lawful rights. His mistreatment of you and his failure to conceal your faults are impermissible. If your husband does not pray or commits adultery, there is no good for you in remaining with him, because he is neglecting the right of his Lord. Some scholars believe that one who abandons prayer is a disbeliever, and it is not permissible for a Muslim woman to remain with a husband who abandons prayer. As for his question about the possibility of Allah granting him a righteous wife, there is no objection to that if he repents and reforms himself, or even if he insists on his current state.
