If working on this program involves or aids in something objectionable or unlawful, then it is not permissible, as Allah Almighty says: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." However, if it does not involve such things, then there is no harm. If the program involves objectionable things or is intended to be used for something unlawful, then it is not permissible to work on it. But if there is a pressing need for work, then being content with this work might be less severe than directly assisting in usury or accepting work that stipulates delaying prayer.
