It is permissible to work in transporting female teachers under two conditions: that the transportation distance does not constitute a travel distance unless there is a mahram for each teacher, and that no khalwa (private seclusion) occurs between the driver and the female teacher. Khalwa is negated by the presence of two women. As for the driver's wage during the break between semesters, the explicit verbal agreement is to be followed. If no such agreement exists, then the prevailing custom is to be followed. It is generally the case that the driver either receives the full wage for the break or receives nothing.
