Is it permissible to purchase the sacrificial animal from the Red Crescent and appoint them to slaughter it and donate all of its meat, knowing that the sacrificer will not witness the sacrifice or eat from it?

It is permissible to appoint the Red Crescent to slaughter the sacrificial animal (Uḍḥiya). However, it is better for the sacrificer to slaughter it himself or to witness the slaughter, in revival of the Sunnah. Slaughtering can also be done on the second, third, or fourth day of Eid to avoid overcrowding.
