What should I do, as I had intercourse with my wife during the daytime in Ramadan, then I fasted forty days of the two-consecutive-month expiation and then broke my fast, and I am unable to complete the fasting now and do not want to delay the expiation?

Whoever commits an act that necessitates expiation during the daytime of Ramadan must make up the day they violated, and the expiation is: the freeing of a slave. If they cannot find one, then it is fasting for two consecutive months. If they break the fast for one day without a valid excuse, they must restart the fasting. However, if they break the fast due to a legitimate religious excuse, then its consecutiveness is not interrupted. If they are unable to fast, then they must feed sixty needy persons.
