Is the repentance of an alcoholic who returns to the sin of drinking alcohol after repenting more than five times unacceptable?

The statement that the repentance of an alcoholic is not accepted after repeated instances is meant as a deterrent and a warning; repentance is accepted no matter how great the sin, as long as the servant regrets, ceases the act, and resolves not to return to it, and as long as the soul has not reached the throat and the sun has not risen from the west.
