What is the reason for the repeated failure of business ventures? Is it a punishment from Allah for not being content with a newborn girl, or for not fulfilling some vows? And what should be done?

Children are a blessing from Allah Almighty. Allah bestows upon whom He wills, females and males. Disliking daughters is blameworthy in Islamic law. The Sharia has encouraged kindness towards them, and whoever takes care of two girls until they reach maturity will come on the Day of Judgment with me and him like these two [fingers]. Affliction occurs due to the sins of people. As for vows, they must be fulfilled immediately if they are an act of obedience. If one is unable to fulfill a vow, then expiation for breaking an oath is required.
