What is the ruling on adopting, distributing, publishing, and supplicating with the well-known leaflet found on some electronic websites titled "Thirty Supplications for Thirty Days in Ramadan"?

Supplication (Du'a) is an act of worship, and its foundation is tawqif (revelatory restriction). Therefore, it is not permissible to innovate supplications or designate specific times for them without a legal (Shar'i) proof. Designating specific supplications for the days of Ramadan or for the circuits of Tawaf and Sa'i is an innovation (bid'ah) that has no basis, because this was not transmitted from the Prophet (peace be upon him). Rather, a Muslim should supplicate with whatever he wishes. Scholars have warned against designating a specific supplication for each circuit of Tawaf or Sa'i. What is mentioned in the supplication for the last day contains what is objectionable (munkar) and contrary to Islamic law, which is seeking intercession by the right of the Prophet and his household. A Muslim should not spread these innovations but should warn against them, for every innovation is a misguidance.
